AI-based applications that support the digitalization of the energy industry

Berlin, January 11, 2024 - The PSI Group will be presenting from February 20 to 22, 2024 at the E-world energy & water in Essen (hall 3, booth B121) comprehensive software solutions for the energy industry. Featured will be new and enhanced functions as well as AI-based applications for energy trading and risk assessment, gas transportation, automated network management and monitoring, and maintenance. Solutions for the integration of renewable energies and of consumer devices such as heat pumps and charging infrastructure for electric vehicles into the grids will also be highlighted that support the energy and mobility transition.

At Europe's leading trade fair for the energy industry, PSI will be presenting new and enhanced functions of the energy trading system. These include, among other features, PPA and aggregation contracts, optimized archiving functions and integrated solutions for heating and electro mobility. In addition, PSI will launch the new design of the system. Also, solutions for the optimization and risk assessment of power plants, gas storage facilities and complex energy portfolios will be presented.

Further exhibition highlights include AI-based applications for automated trading on the intraday market, efficient maintenance management and also internationally required gas grid operation modes.

Moreover, new enhancements for the transport and distribution of renewable and decarbonized gases for the simulation and tracking of gas qualities will be shown. PSI will also be providing information on the latest release of the gas control system with new and enhanced functions for transport dispatching. Additionally, new functions for commercial dispatching will be revealed.

As well as highlighting PSI's control system technology, the focus will also be on software solutions for the automated management of low-voltage grids, in particular with regard to the implementation of Section 14a of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG). PSI's solutions support the integration of renewable energies and the reliable integration of consumer devices such as heat pumps and charging infrastructure for electric vehicles into the grids.

The PSI Group develops software products for optimizing the flow of energy and materials for utilities and industry.
