Thyssengas Contracts PSI with an Upgrade of the Gas Management System

Monitoring, simulation and control of the transportation network

Berlin, 9 July 2019 – The PSI Software AG has been contracted by the Thyssengas GmbH with providing a software upgrade for the existing gas management system to version 7.8. The upgrade contains important extensions of the systems functions and services.

The PSIcontrol/Gas process control system with the simulation core PSIganesi and the PSItransport, PSIcomcentre modules fulfils the essential requirements such as technical monitoring, simulation and control of the transport network. In addition to the provision of forecast values for simulation and scheduling of operation modes, they also offer a portal for version-related data archiving and communication via the exchange of business messages (Edigas, AS2, AS4). PSI's upgrade service ensures the capability for cyclic security patches while ensuring trouble-free system operation.
