Berlin, Walldorf, 12 August 2004 – The PSI subsidiary PSI-BT AG and the SAP AG have established the prerequisites for a closer cooperation in the metals industry. The interface between PSImetals with the interface software PSIintegration and the solution mySAP Supply Chain Management (mySAP SCM) has been certified by SAP AG. With that PSI-BT strengthens their integration know-how for SAP customers in the production environment.
The certified functions are in the areas of production, material flow and quality management. PSI-BT has been participating in the program “Shop Floor to Top Floor“ since May 2004. The aim of the program is to standardize the data exchange between production control systems and corporate applications. With that PSI continues the strategic opening toward the market of SAP users.
PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of large networks (electricity, gas, oil, telecommunications, transport), cross-company production management (steel, chemicals, machinery, automotive, logistics) and information management for government and service providers. PSI was founded in 1969 and currently employs 1,150 persons.
