PSI presents energy solutions at E-world 2019

Berlin, 21 December 2018 – PSI will be presenting at the E-world energy & water in Essen from 5 to 7 February 2019 (booth 326, hall 3),the latest developments in energy trading and distribution, optimization, gas network management, gas storage, network control technology, field force management and intelligent technology for smart grids.

Extensive new functions for energy trading

The energy trading system PSImarket offers extensive enhancements for data analytics, workflow management and the integration of intraday trading. It also takes into account the increasing volume and volatility of energy trading. Advanced positional views and reporting capabilities increase transparency and new legal requirements such as DSGVO and regulatory reports were fully implemented. The tranche module was extended to include automatic initialization by splitting it into standard products and residuals.

Certified optimization software with new intraday features

The interface of the optimization software TS Energy, certified by EPEX SPOT SE, supports trade decisions in real time with new intraday functions. Additional enhancements simplify and speed up software deployment.

New evaluation and analysis options for revision and calibration

Users of the PSIrwin inspection and calibration system can discover how the new on-site evaluation and analysis options make their use on site much more efficient.

Software solutions for gas network and storage operators

Gas network and storage operators can inform themselves about the software solutions in the PSI Gas Management Suite. These solutions meet all the current requirements for technical and commercial process management. Standard interfaces allow a comfortable and precise integration into the existing IT environment and fully automated business processes. Improved monitoring and process-related user interface offer optimized ease of use. In addition, new functions for process optimization and holistic services consisting of application management and hosting will be presented.

Enhancements in network control system and workforce management system

For utilities, the PSIcontrol Release 4.6 network control system provides comprehensive fault analysis, overhead line monitoring and advanced control functions for distributed feed-in. For the field force management system PSIcommand, the highlight will be the collaboration with PSIcontrol. The focus will be on switching support for on-site workers in the case of planned and re-provisioning after disturbances in non-remotely controllable medium and low voltage networks.

New product PSI Intelligent Grid Operator

The new solution PSI Intelligent Grid Operator will be presented as an active subsystem to complement and relieve the control center. This includes control and optimization modules for network automation, cascaded charge management on all levels as well as an energy management system for SMEs and industrial customers.

On the basis of its own software products, the PSI Group develops and integrates complete solutions for optimizing the flow of energy and material at suppliers (energy networks, energy trading, public passenger transport) and industry (raw material extraction, metal production, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics). PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 1,750 persons worldwide.
