PSIscada controls sewage system in Poznan in Poland

Berlin, 27 January 2021 - Aquanet S.A., one of the leading Polish companies for water supply and wastewater management, has commissioned PSI Polska Sp. z o.o. with the implementation of the PSIscada system to control the sewage system in Poznan.

In addition to the implementation of the new system, PSI Polska will plan the introduction processes of the software and the necessary hardware for the water treatment station in Wiśniowa Street in Poznan and the central sewage treatment plant in Koziegłowy, as well as their roll-out in other areas of the Poznań sewage system.

As part of the corporate strategy, Aquanet intends to use this investment to build a state-of-the-art central technology platform that monitors, controls and manages their infrastructure remotely. This includes pumping stations, with and without separation of solids, sewage separation units and metering stations, rain gauges, storm overflow units, siphons and traps as well as sewage collection stations.

As part of a public tendering process, the system based on the PSI platform was selected due to its high configurability and flexibility, e.g. through the modern PSI Click Design technology. The new system will control the infrastructure in Poznan and the surrounding municipalities and should be implemented within the next two years.

Aquanet S.A. is one of the leading Polish companies for water supply and wastewater management and the largest company in Poland for the reception, treatment and delivery of cold water as well as the collection and treatment of waste as well as water and wastewater management.
