PSI Presents Energy Management Solutions at the E-world 2010

Berlin, 21 January 2010 – PSI will be presenting new energy management solutions at the E-world in Essen (Hall 3, Stand 354) from 9 - 11 February 2010. In addition to the standard solution PSImarket and the Gas Analysis and Planning System (GAPS), integrated gas logistics control and management functions will be presented. Furthermore, comprehensive management and consultancy services for energy procurement and distribution, networks, storage and measuring data will be shown.

PSImarket supports all sales and trading processes, from planning to invoicing in an integrated, configurable solution. The highly flexible system GAPS provides numerous special functions for analysis, planning and gas portfolio optimisation as well as for the gas storage management.

PSI shows components for the intelligent energy management at the joint stand "smart energy" in Hall 2. As part of a consortium in the e-energy research project "Smart Watts", PSI currently develops essential components of an information and control system for producers, suppliers and customers for future energy networks ("Smart Grids").

PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions, on the basis of its own software products, for the management of energy networks (electricity, gas, oil, heat, water), cross-company production management (metals, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics) and infrastructure management for telecommunications, transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs 1,400 persons in the group.
